I try to support this small "Mom and Pop" shop, but today, I decided that I will never return. I entered the store and two associates were at the register. No one spoke or asked me if I needed help. I looked around a few aisles for what I needed....still no help. I decided to leave with out the items I needed. Why? Because I'd rather spend my hard earned dollars at a store that respects and wants my business.
Avoid -- who knows what mood the two men will be in – snarky and short, the two men providing 'service' are why this store is dismally empty.
A wonderful family owned neighborhood hardware store. As to be expected the prices are a little bit higher than a larger place like home depot, but that is because of the luxury of convenience. If they don't have what you need they will either order it or even tell you where you can find it locally. They are more customer service focused.

I have been using the store for over thirty years. Admittedly I haven't used them enough to be known by them but I always take the time to go there before going to Home Depot or Lowes. The service and the people have always been adequate and helpful but never over friendly or caring. Today I noticed a sign on the door that says "NO PUBLIC RESTROOMS". That sign doesn't say to me welcome come on in and spend your money, it says come on in but don't pee in my toilet.
Consequently, stock is low because sales are low -- I invariably need to drive to HD or Lowes. I always buy locally, own rentals in Fort Washington, but one of the men had a tantrum the other day -- adios grouchy.
