I've tried to go here twice, once at 630am and once at 730am both time the gate was locked when the hours clearly say open at 6 am
This park is wonderful .
This is a fascinating park if you are interested in Civil War or US military history.
Historic land with big open spaces, easy access from the parkway. Needs lots of attention from the park services.
Fun couple of hours walking through the trails or finding the deer paths through the sheer drop. Historic cannons where you can actually touch them. Just take your trash and any animal waste with you.
